Barista Courses
Learn how to become a qualified Barrista with a greater than industry standard course.
Our trainer has a government recognised "Certificate 4 in assessment and work place training." Called train the trainer.
A full 6 certificate "Barista Certificate" is issued on completion by Kappys & Wright P/L
There are two fully intergrated training courses available.
Course 1 consists of 3 x 3 hour sessions.
First session ; Covers a history of growing areas and heights, quality recognition and
blending of BOTH Tea and Coffee. Setting up work area and make tea products.
Second session ; Area set up and machine start up, setting machine statistics and heating.
Milk frothing followed by basic coffee making.
Third session ; More milk frothing, all coffee product making, clean up and shut down.
Course 2 consists of a further 3 x 3 hour sessions. Preferably after several weeks of continous practise.
Fourth session : Set up work area and turn machine on. Test and reset grinder blades for
perfect grind size. Froth milk and make all products. Learn trouble shooting
and minor maintanence.
Fifth session ; Set up area and machine, froth milk and make all products. Full service of
espresso machine and grinder. Clean both and shut down.
Sixth session ; Set up area and machine, froth milk and make all products. Explain full
service and adjustments of both pieces of equipment. Clean up and shut

THIS COURSE IS DONE, PREFERABLY AT OUR PURPOSE BUILT TRAINING CENTRE ON THE YORKE PENINSULA.
Course 1 & 2 are a weekend each.
You arrive on Friday night and leave Sunday. There will be 2 x 3 hour sessions on saturday and 1 x 3 hour session on sunday. We supply training, 3 Meals a day and sleeping arangements.
