Classic is just the word, From the mountains above Burma,Laos and Vietnam but on the Chinese side, down from Kunming, which is the capital. We went to Kunming, planning to go south but there had been a massive storm the day before and all the roads and bridges had been washed away and would stay like that for months. Never fear we still drank fresh tea from that region. A slightly tanniny palate but one of the most enjoyable cups when fresh.
